Q: When did Quality Equipment and East Coast Equipment merge?

A: A proposal to merge the dealer groups was submitted to and approved by John Deere Company in July 2018. The two entities officially merged on Oct. 1, 2018. 

Q: Should I continue to contact the same person who I typically worked with before the merger?

A: Yes. Most employees will remain in similar if not identical roles. Most employee phone numbers will also remain the same.

Q: Will store hours of operation change?

A: Hours of operations for all locations will remain the same until further notice.

Q: Where are the 27 stores located?

A: All former Quality Equipment and East Coast Equipment locations will remain open under the new Quality Equipment. Now, Quality Equipment has a dealership in: Albermarle, NC; Burlington, NC; Carthage, NC; Chesapeake, VA; Clinton, NC; Dunn, NC; Durham, NC; Edenton, NC; Fairfield, NC; Fuquay-Varina, NC; Goldsboro, NC; Henderson, NC; Hertford, NC; Jacksonville, NC; Kinston, NC; Knightdale, NC; Nashville/Rocky Mount, NC; New Bern, NC; Polkton, NC; Roxboro, NC; Scotland Neck, NC; Smithfield, NC; Sunbury, NC; Wallace, NC; Washington, NC; Wilson, NC; Winterville, NC.

Q: Where are corporate headquarters?

A: Quality Equipment’s corporate office is located in Fuquay-Varina. East Coast Equipment's corporate office was in Winterville, NC. The decision was made to make corporate headquarters in Fuquay-Varina due to the Raleigh-area's large population base and central location, in regards to all other Quality Equipment stores. Fuquay-Varina is also near the Raleigh/Durham airport, as well as the John Deere regional training center.
