2024 Southern Farm Days

Annually held on the 3rd weekend in March at Lake Waccamaw, NC, Southern Farm Days takes a step back in time to the days of early farming. Hosted by the Cape Fear Farm Heritage Association, this three day event strives to educate their guests about agriculture and how it plays a vital part in our world through live demonstrations and hands-on experiences. Southern Farm Days strives to give back to the community; proceeds from the event always goes towards supporting the Lake Waccamaw Girls & Boys Home.

Adults and kids of all ages can learn about the history of farming and equipment while enjoying food, crafts, hay rides, and more! Featuring an antique swap meet, tractor/lawnmower games, tractor pulls, sawmill demonstrations, and live animals, these are activities you don’t want to miss when you attend this event.

Hungry? Southern Farm Days has you covered! With vendors coming from all over, you can enjoy a variety of foods like a hotdog from Aunt B’s Hotdogs or a BBQ pork sandwich from The Meat Shack! Refresh your appetite with a lemonade from Luke & Rose’s Lemonade booth or an Italian ice/slushy from Sunset Slush of NMB! Complete your meal with a sweet treat from Carolina Gourmet Cotton Candy Co while continuing to explore the grounds of Southern Farm Days.
