MowerPlus™ connectors link John Deere lawn tractors to the MowerPlus app
John Deere has three devices that wirelessly connect a lawn tractor to the MowerPlus app:
These connectors wirelessly link your tractor to the MowerPlus app on your mobile device. No tools are needed for installation, and detailed set up instructions are included with your purchase.
The connector sends information to the MowerPlus app via Bluetooth® wireless technology when the tractor key switch is on and the mobile device app is running within range. The wireless connector and app work together to offer helpful information.
For one, tractor engine hours are automatically synchronized to the app.
The app also tracks your fuel level. Even when you're away from your tractor, the app remembers information, like the fuel level, from the last synchronization. When thinking ahead about Saturday morning mowing, you can make sure your tractor is fueled and ready to go.
Plus, since the smart connector communicates instrument cluster information, future app releases will be able to provide additional operating recommendations and notifications.
The app offers to help determine the best time to mow, communicates expert pre-mow optimization tips, and contains maintenance walk-through instructions. The device’s app store will show new app features as they are added.
